Who are our people
Partnering with Local Communities

The Conservation Commission of the Australian Speleological Federation draws on volunteer cavers, cave divers, and individuals who explore, research, document, conserve, and educate members of the public about the caves and karst of Australia and advocate for its protection.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Venenatis tellus in metus vulputate eu scelerisque felis imperdiet.

We advocate for better management and protection of caves and karst on both public and private land.

Finance & Investing

The ASF acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners and custodians of the land, rivers, and sea on which we live, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect the deep spiritual connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to Country, especially to caves.

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once every few years, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.”
